I just got notice that my Pericles has shipped and is waiting for me at the post office. Stay tuned for a review of this long awaited book from the Barbarian Press. It has had a interesting journey from concept to completion but from my sneak peek at CODEX earlier this year, I know it was worth the wait.

I am glad you’re going to be sharing this one with us. This must be the most ambitious Private Press production of the last decade. I couldn’t afford a copy, but (at the risk of sounding cheeky) I hope to be able to enjoy a generous selection of the images from your copy. In the meantime I’ll leave you to wait for the parcel (I think I may be a bit jealous!).
I haven’t been able to dive into the Barbarian Pericles yet but I can already tell you that it is assured a place as one of my top five favorite books in my library, if not at the very top. Stay tuned!
